CMH Lahore Medical College & Institute of Dentistry, located with in the serene and secure premises of CMH Lahore offers the very best in the healthcare education. College was inaugurated on November 11, 2006, by the President of Pakistan. Speaking on the CMH Medical College project, the President said the medical education was a prime necessity for extension of health care to all segments of society. He lauded the efforts ofahore Medical College would help change the complexion of medicare for the Army and provexcellence for pursing medical knowledge and research in the country.

Situated on Abdur Rehman Road, Lahore Cantt., CMH Lahore, the teaching hospital of the college is a 1,000 bedded tertiary care hospital providing quality medical care through its well established outdoor & indoor facilities..

Earth breaking ceremony of the new college campus was held on 6 March 2007.Profesional architects and consultants have prepared the master plan of the new collage campus creating a fine blend of convenience, accessibility and modern architecture. The new building, which is one of the beautiful one in the metropolitan city is in the final stages of its completion.

The new campus consists of well equipped and stat- of- the art lecture rooms for each department, Anatomy dissection hall, tutorial rooms, laboratories, library, computer lab, auditorium, cafe teria, book shop, mosque, Sports facilities and a spacious parking area.

Academic Excellence
The pioneer batch of students achieved academic excellence in First Professional Part-I MBBS examination held in 2007. The college stood second by overall passing percentage among 13 affiliated medical colleges of University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore. Students bagged 17 distinctions in different subjects out of total 51 varsity distinctions. In the subject of anatomy, the students won 11 distinctions out of total 14 varsity distinctions. The students also secured four out of top ten university positions in this examination.

CMH Lahore Medical College and Institute of Dentistry welcomes the 7th batch of MBBS and 5th batch of BDS students is heartening to note that this institution has established its name and fame by imparting quality education not only in terms of formal professional education but also has endeavoured in character building of the future doctors. Organizational Structure
CMH Lahore Medical College & Institute of Dentistry has been established to improve health care facilities of CMH Lahore, provide a quality institution for medical education and a research forum for promotion of health care in native environment. Ministry of Health has approved establishment of this college vide their letter No. F 3- 10/2007-MER dated 15th May 2007. Operating on non profit basis, it is governed by a Board of Management, Executive Committee, Principal and Academic Council under the supervision of Corps Headquarters.
