Principal Message to the Students
On behalf of Tripura Medical College and Dr, B, R, A Memorial Teaching Hospital faculty and staff, I take this opportunity to welcome you to our online tour. It gives me immense pleasure to inform that Tripura Medical College is providing an excellent clinical education and scientific research training to our students for the development of human resources for health in Tripura. We have two medical college in Tripura, are the State of the Art. Both the colleges are affiliated to Tripura University which is the only Central university in the State.

Traditionally education; clinical care; community services and research have been the corner stone of our mission. Our goal is to provide excellent graduate learning experience to outstanding students to become tomorrow's health care leaders, educators and researchers. Our all departments are well equipped with excellent group of faculties.

Our standards and quality of education has been constantly upgraded and still changing constantly to adapt to the needs of medicine. We are proud of conducting our exams on time and keeping a continued check on our students academic record so as to take necessary steps to guide them if they need guidance. We keep the parents informed of their Childs performance so as to facilitate overall enthusiasm of our students. We have one 500 bedded general hospital facilitated with all modern equipments. Our students learn from very talented, renowned and successful faculty. Educational Notification
It is for general information of all concerned that the Common Entrance Test for admission of 1ST year MBBS 1ST year B.Sc Nursing course will be held on 10th July, 2011 at 2 P.M. to 3-30 P.M. in Tripura Medical College & Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Memorial Teaching Hospital, Hapania, West Tripura.

A) MBBS:-

• Total Seat : 85 ( 55 Seats are reserved for Tripura domicile in which Reservation policy of Govt. of Tripura will be applicable and 30 Seats open for other States of India and Union Territories where reservation policy of G.O.I. will be followed.
• The Application Form and the Information Brochure cum Prospectus (MBBS) will be available in the office of the Principal in all working days from 18-06-2011 (11 A.M. to 5 P.M.) on production of Demand Draft amounting to Rs.2000/- only (Free prospectus for BPL candidates on production of authentic document). The Demand
• Draft may be drawn from any Nationalized Bank in favour of the Society for T.M.C. & Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital, Hapania payable at Agartala. The Application Form and the Information Brochure cum Prospectus can also be downloaded from the website of the College. The College website is www.tmc.nic.in
• Eligibility criteria for appearing the Common Entrance Test :-
• Candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Must have passed H.S (10 + 2) or equivalent examination from a recognized board having passed in English and minimum 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (40% for S.C & S.T. Candidates).
• The Candidate must have attained 17 years of age (completed) as on 31-07-2011.

• Total Seat: 60 (Open) and the Reservation policy of Govt. of Tripura will be applicable.
• The Application Form and Prospectus will be available in all working days from 18-06-2011 (11 A.M. to 5 P.M.) in the Office of the Principal, Tripura College of Nursing, Hapania, West Tripura on production of Demand Draft amounting Rs.1,500/- to be drawn from any Nationalized Bank in favour of the Society for T.M.C. & Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital, Hapania payable at Agartala.
• The last date for receipt of duly filled in Application Form along with required documents and Demand Draft by the office of the Principal, TMC / Principal, TCN is 02-07-2011 up to 5 P.M.
• Eligibility criteria for appearing the Common Entrance Test :-
• Candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Must have passed H.S (10 + 2) or equivalent examination from a recognized board & minimum 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English (40% for S.C & S.T. Candidates).
• The Candidate must have attained 17 years of age (completed) and not more than 25 years as on 31-07-2011.
