Consequently, since we perceive the student as our most crucial and valuable asset, our educational programs are equivalent to the international approved programs.
The educational mode in BMC is not seeking to segregate study from reality. On the contrary, we encourage the student to ask questions and explore answers. Supporting this ideology you will experience the inspiration, creativity and the motivation of the BMC staff and faculty.

To design, finance, construct, and operate (5) medical colleges to the highest international standards by the year 2020, thus providing the region with well-trained qualified healthcare professionals to serve the increasing demand for quality healthcare.

About BMC
Architecturally designed as a traditional red brick building, the Batterjee Medical College's walls embrace the contemporary method of education. The lecturing halls and laboratories are furnished with some of the finest as well as advanced equipment.

The college's magnificent campus, located north of Jeddah, with its beautiful glimpse of the sea, the acres of lush green grass coupled with a healthy environment motivate the students to focus on their studies.
BMC Dome - an insgight

Our highly qualified international faculty are committed to providing the highest profound knowledge throughout the students' study years while all the way encouraging them to explore the Medical Research Center that promotes scientific research. The Batterjee Medical College offers Bachelor's degrees in various medical fields. Moreover, the curricula of these degrees are approved from the Ministry of Higher Education, BMC, King Abdulaziz University school of Medicine as well as Tubingen University, Germany. The Batterjee Medical College also grants the opportunity for the student to train at any one of the Saudi German Hospital Group sited all around the Middle East and Africa during their study and after graduation.

Our productive program of development and activities for students, our full recreational facilities, sports and social activities endorse the student for a well rounded life with medicine at its focal.

The Program
The bachelor's program in Medicine starts with a foundation year of two terms covering variety of courses. These courses are: English, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Medical Terminology, Medical Ethics and Computer Technology.

After successful completion of the foundation year, students will have to spend the required years according to their majors. After graduating the student has the opportunity to spend a final year of internship at the Saudi German Hospitals Group to obtain the Bachelors degree in their speciality.
