The M P Birla Library
Situated on the fifteenth floor of the R D Birla Tower, the M P Birla Library provides a breathtaking view of Mumbai city. Extending from the blue waters of the Arabian Sea to the Gothic domes of the erstwhile Victoria Terminus. Within its large glass windows you find probably the finest collection of medical references anywhere in the city. With over 6000 books, 6000 hard bound journals and 1200 others that pour in by way of subscriptions each year, the library also provides internet access, medlne facility and state-of-the-art audio-visual teaching aides.
The Museum
Located next to the library, the Museum displays specimens of the human anatomy carefully selected from hospitals around Mumbai. It is an excellent source of reference, for students of the institute.
The S P Jain Auditorium
Capable of seating as many as 400 people at a time, the S P Jain auditorium provides a perfect setting for small and medium sized conferences and conventions. The auditorium projects live operations and holds interactive sessions for a varied audience.
The Birla Matushree Sabhaghar
Considered to be among the largest auditoriums in Mumbai, the Birla Matushree Sabhaghar seats 1200 in classic theatre style seating and is ideal for larger gatherings.
The Bombay Hospital School of Nursing
The hospital recognises that nursing is the backbone of the medical fraternity. Its contribution towards this is the Bombay Hospital School of Nursing. Every year, 50 students graduate from this school and most are absorbed as staff at the hospital itself.
