The Florida State University College of Medicine will develop excellent doctors who practice patient centered medical care, and are responsive in the welfare of the community, especially through service to older, non-urban, and under served communities. The FSU College of Medicine will lead the country in planning concerned doctors to provide the finest quality of service.
The university is accredited by the Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) with the affiliation of the Medical Educational Council of Pensacola and FSU College of Medicine. The Medical Educational Council of Pensacola is recognized by the ACCME and requires liability for the medical reliability of CME activities.
The university provides loans based on Federal Stafford Loans which helps students to meet their financial needs at favorable interest rates. Students must apply for these funds each year by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The eligibility criteria for getting these loans are based on the program and the cost of attendance for the school. Payment quantities may be a little bit lower than award amounts due to the 1% reduction in handling fees.
