Harvard Medical School
The Harvard Medical School was established in 1782, with three faculty members and with a small amount of students. In the beginning the classes were held in Harvard Hall in Cambridge. From the establishment of college the School prepared many physicians and researchers to take needful care for the patients with reliability, expertise and sympathy.

For more than 200 years, the School has shaped and prepared the medical education throughout the world. The HMS has led a constant process of growth and advancement in education and learning. Today, the School is constantly improving its program to meet the needs of Twenty first century by developing clinical and basic technology across the program, creating new designs for clinical education and make the students to involve in an in-depth scholarly experience

School of medicine
The Program in Medical Education (PME) is the organizational structure leading to the MD degree. Under the guidance of the Dean the offices of the PME are accountable for all factors of the academic strategy and evaluation of academic policies

Admission
To study medicine at Harvard school is a challenging task and the student must willing to achieve the school's mission. For over two centuries, the School of medicine has excelled not only in teaching but also bringing out the best practical and clinical knowledge.

Financial Aid
Applying for financial aid is different from the admissions process. The Committee on Admissions selects candidates does not depend on the student's financial ability. Candidates who are selected for admission will be invited to apply for financial assistance and the management will sent the necessary application forms.

The Financial Aid Committee will fund the students on the basis of financial need and the availability of financial funds in the school; merit-based scholarships are not provided in this medical school.

Interview day

• Orientation - the candidates begin their interview day with an orientation program. This will happen in the Gordon Hall. During this program you will be given an overview of the events. A faculty member will explain about the Harvard Medical School and the medical program. You will also given a chance to ask any queries regarding the courses and about the facilities
• Lunch & Tour - Later the Harvard medical school will arrange a tour of the campus and made lunch arrangements
• Lectures - You will be offered with a list of available courses & lectures in the medical school. All applicants are motivated to be present at.
• Interview - All applicants will have two interviews with two different associates of the admission committee. The location and time of the interview will differ, so the committee does ask applicants to be versatile and keep in touch throughout the day.

Research
Core scientific facilities assist impressive research at Harvard by offering extremely specific services, devices and staff that would be too costly for a single clinical lab or division to provide.

While most cores are available, some are required by the sponsors to restrict accessibility and to distinguish prices. Guidelines regarding services, accessibility, charges and prioritization differ from core and by organization.
