Haybusak University of Yerevan

Yerevan Haybusak University was founded in 1990 and since then it has become the largest private educational institution in Armenia. With 16 departments, undergraduate college and high school, it is now the recognised leader of the country's private education.

Yerevan Haybusak University is fully accredited by the State. Our over 7/000 alumni work not only in Armenia, but also all over the world. Both Bachelor degrees and Master degrees are available to our students.

In 2007, Yerevan Haybusak University, Armenian Open University, Diplomacy and Oriental Studies Institute after H. Lazaryan, Haybusak undergraduate college and Haybusak high school and several overseas educational institutions joined to form the International Academy of Education, an institution which would ensure the best possible quality of education by sharing resources, techniques and strategies of teaching. In 2010, the Roslin institute of design also joined International Academy of Education (IAE).

The IAE staff have attended a number of trainings on e-learning and distance education, and currently our University offers a wide range of electronic and online courses delivered by first-rate specialists with a degree or certificate in e-learning.

A number of professional trainings are available at the Haybusak University Training centre, founded in 2008 and functioning successfully since then.

Students
Yerevan Haybusak University prepares national specialists for foreign countries according to the international norms and regulations, and the principles of the Bologna treaty.

Hundreds of students from Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, USA, Canada, Europe, India, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Burma and many other countries have received their degrees in Yerevan Haybusak University.

The Foreign Students Office of Yerevan Haybusak University is in contact with the Educational Commission for Medical Graduates (ECFMG) which provides opportunities to obtain USMLE performance data about our students and graduates, reducing the time spent verifying the status of our students and graduates. This decreases the time it takes for medical students and graduates to complete the USMLE registration process.

Students from other countries and towns can find accommodation either at the hostel or in affordable flats near the campus.

Staff
Yerevan Haybusak University takes pride in qualified staff members (most of them holding a PhD degree or Professor title) and up-to-date curricula which are constantly being improved and modernized to meet the requirements of the rapidly changing job market.

Several courses from our overseas partners, such as the European School of Management (Spain), Ex Marseille University (France) and Moscow Sechenov's Academy (Russia) are available to our students. Several times a year, a visiting professor from these institutions delivers a lecture or a seminar on the subjects our students are most interested in (surveys are conducted to reveal the interests of the students).

We collaborate with the International Academy of Informatization (Canada) and Armenian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce. We constantly keep in touch with potential employers to investigate their needs and prepare our students for a better job and a better future.

All the Bachelor and Master courses are accredited by the State and provide a degree which is valid in most countries of the world.

The Quality Assessment Centre of Haybusak University constantly supervises and improves the quality of teaching, using student and lecturer feedback and implementing innovative technologies. The Quality Assessment Centre is also working on the implementation of Bologna principles and organises relevant trainings and courses for teachers and students.

Several online and face-to-face courses are also available from our overseas partners.

Facilities
Haybusak University Career Centre is where you go when you want to find a job. Thanks to highly efficient professionals and large network of communication, finding a good job becomes an easy and successful task.

The students of the Faculty of Law have the possibility to work and carry out field work at our Legal Clinic, founded with the help of UN and aimed at supporting refugees, victims of gender violence and other vulnerable groups.

Hard-copy and electronic libraries, multimedia materials and interactive teaching materials are available to our students. Highly experienced reference librarians are available.

The typical student/teacher ratio is 1/12. Supportive one-to-one tutoring is available upon request.

The modern and perfectly equipped gym will help you stay fit and full of energy.

Cultural events are organised by students and staff members and staged either in our hall or in concert/theatre halls of the capital. The Student Parliament and the Cultural Council of Haybusak University are the two organisations responsible for our students' cultural and social life. Excursions, debates, round tables, competitions and festivals are held on a regular basis.

Yerevan Haybusak University possesses two buildings each of which has a cafeteria, internet cafe, photocopy centre, computer labs etc.
