Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) - Teaching Hospital, is a 1060 beds Broad & Super Specialty branches. The infrastructure facilities - Equipments & buildings are as per norms of Medical Council of India, New Delhi.

The State-of-the-art facilities include 12 Operation Theatres, a Post Operative Ward, Acute Medical Care Unit, Intensive Coronary Care Unit (ICCU), Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU), Paediatrics Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Acute Surgical Care Unit (ASCU).

DIAGNOSTIC DEPARTMENTS
This hospital is provided with central clinical laboratory with clinical Pathology, Biochemistry & Microbiology sections. These sections are headed by qualified faculty who are on duty round the clock. The labs are provided with equipment of high order. The Radiology department is attached to the hospital located in the ground floor and provided with X-ray machines of 600 MA, 500 MA, 300 MA, 100 MA and 60 MA, CT, MRI, Mammography and DSA."

In addition to the existing departments three new departments are added - Hospital Administration, Transfusion Medicine & Emergency Medicine and functioning since two years.

The Super Speciality departments are established and functioning. The faculty is appointed for the Super Speciality branches.

The KIMS Campus is located at Sreepuram, Narketpally, Nalgonda Dist. on the 89th KM from Hyderabad and 190th KM from Vijayawada on the National Highway-9. Magnificence of the Institute and Hospital buildings compliment the 30 acre landscape in which they are built. Special emphasis is laid on the lawns, avenue trees, flower gardens, etc. which gives an aesthetic touch to the entire panorama. This together with it's location gives the campus a serene atmosphere which is indispensable in imparting Quality Education.

SAHITHI- the Central Library
Besides incorporating latest technology aids for Qualitative Teaching, the Institute encourages Self learning through "SAHITHI"- the Central library. Housed in an independent, hexagon shaped building "SAHITHI" is a collection of over 12,000 Books, 197 Indian & Foreign Journals and 895 e-Journals Periodicals, Interactive Multimedia CD-ROM's and e-books. In addition to the Central Library all departments of the Institution have their own Libraries.

SAMHITHA, SAMSKRUTHI & SAMYUKTHA- home away from home
The Institute has three Girls hostels viz. SAMHITHA, SAMSKRUTHI & SAMYUKTHA, SAMATHA & SATHBHAVANA [Air conditioned] and a Boys SAMYAMI Hostel which are in all means home away from home. All rooms are well furnished and ventilated. Rooms are available in single, double & triple occupancy modes.

Hygienic & Nutritious food is cooked on steam cooking facility and served in seperate dinning halls for Boys and Girls. Continuous treated drinking water facility caters to the inmates of the Campus.
