About Us
The MCP is a private, unaided College approved by the Government of TamilNadu and affiliated to the University of Meenakshi. The primary aim of the institution is to provide students a conductive learning environment, to help then to kindle their latent skills, to help them to develop their full academic potential and to equip themeselves fully to face a highly competitive world.

The Campus, is situated in a quiet rural place with a pleasant environment which helps the students not only to concentrate on their studies but also to enjoy the benefits of good ventilation,fresh air and pure water.

Managing Trustee
With the dawn of independence, importance has been laid on imparting quality education in the country, as good education alone will help people to rise up in various walks of life.

Mr. A.N. Radhakrishnan, M.A., D.Com., is the Managing Trustee. He is the backbone of the Trust. Mr. Radhakrishnan has with him rich teaching experience as a Senior Lecturer in Commerce for over three decades in State Institute of Commerce Education (SICE), which is under the control of Dept. of Technical Education, Govt. of Tamilnadu.

His rich experience in teaching is mainly instrumental in starting Educational Institutions in the fields of Engineering, Medical and other Para Medical courses.He has won many laurels. He is a dedicated, devoted and disciplined person with high quality of knowledge in the field of education. The tremendous growth of the Trust is due to the untiring efforts made by Mr. Radhakrishnan with his dedication to the cause of education. His ambition is to set up a Medical College and Hospital in the days to come and he has already made all efforts in this direction.

The trust institutes awards, scholarships, grants and aids to Indian citizens for study and research in the fields of education, Indian culture and fine arts, and makes contribution for the relief of the poor, aged and handicapped.Mrs. Meenakshi Ammal is an Educationist with 30 years of teaching experience to her credit. This apart, she is an able administrator, capable of handling all types of Educational Activities.

The growth of the Trust in the field of Education is predominantly due to her untiring efforts with total dedication and devotion.In this march towards the glorious academic revolution, establishing Vani Vidyalaya in the year 2002 was a proud moment and landmark in the history of the Meenakshi Ammal Trust.Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research welcomes every prospective student with open hands to discover newer worlds of skill & knowledge.

Thirumathi. Gomathy Radhakrishnan, is the Chairperson of Sri Muthukumaran Educational Trust has rich experience in the field of Education. She was the proprietrix of 3 Commerce Institutes, viz., Sivasakthi, Babuji and Sakthi Institute of Commerce and has won many state awards. She continues to be associated with all Educational activities and is offering her valuable guidance.

Placements
The placement cell is doing unblemished service to the aspiring students by providing them an opportunity get recruited in prestigious corporate, through campus placement program.

The cell has a placement committee headed by a full time Placement Officer and comprising of faculty and student from various department as members.

Objectives:

• To arrange On-Campus and Off-Campus interviews for the students.
• To arrange project work, Industrial Visit and Industrial Training.
• To increase success rate at interviews by organizing Career Guidance training to the students.
• To motivate and guide the students to prepare for Competitive Exams.

Facilities available for conducting campus recruitments:
The college has got excellent facilities for conducting Campus Recruitments.Air Conditioned Auditorium for conducting Pre-Placement talks with modern facilities like projector for power pointpresentation, OHP and Public Address system.Sufficient halls for conducting written tests, Group Discussions.Air conditioned room exclusively for conducting interviews.LAN facilities are available for conducting Online Computer based tests for the recruitment process.

Transport and accommodation facilities for the Company personnel for the campus interview.An hour per week is completely dedicated to train the students about facing interviews, stage speaking, body gesture, group discussions, mock interviews, solving aptitude and technical questions.

Communication skills lab:
Exclusive communication skills lab with latest software, training CDs, headphones, handy cam, DVD recorder, television and Pentium IV systems.

Debate club:
This club focuses on developing student's communicating ability in English. Weekly one hour is allotted to train the students through debate, block and tackle & group discussions.

Association hour:
This hour completely focuses on developing the student's skills on technical fields like paper presentation, mini projects and technical quiz.

Special training:
To increase success rate at interviews by organizing Career Guidance training to the students.Seminars, discussions with HR experts from top level companies are arranged once in 15 days.

Alumni Association:
Alumni association is established to provide better and continuing interaction between alumni of the college. Every year Alumni Association meet is organized periodically.
