The Faculty provides a favorable environment for the students and is constantly assisting their needs. It encourages excellence, freedom, reliability, team, moral concerns, and awareness to cooperate in all its actions. The greatest goal is the well-being and improving the life of the society.

Teaching
The quality of the school of medicine educational programs at all three levels as well as postgraduate and continuing the Faculty of Medicine will train competent professionals and ensure succession in the various fields and specialties of biomedical sciences and health education including academic and research. To this end, the Faculty has continued leadership in the development of programs and recruitment of teachers and researchers. It promotes the development of their careers. She is also responsible for obtaining and sharing resources and knowledge, teaching duties and supervision of students, the development of new teaching methods and information technologies. It ensures the stowage of his teachings to the various research activities.

Research
The Faculty of Medicine conducts research activities and it is entirely different from the method of teaching. It aims to increase knowledge, technology transfer and training a new generation with advanced techniques. The Staff shall carry together instructors and scientists in many disciplines.

The mission of the Mentouri university encloses three components: prevention, health promotion and delivery of quality care to the people. The Staff identifies the multiple factorial aspects and social health and implements these to the research students in the planning, and evaluation of health care services. This motivates the students to develop solutions for major health problems. It promotes a holistic approach in all disciplines related to health.
