Mohi-ud-Din Islamic Medical College

Introduction
The Mohi-ud-Din Islamic University, Nerian Sharif, AJ&K is run and managed by Anjaman-e-Mohi-ul- Islam Siddiquia Trust, (Reg.) and was established under Act No.1 of 2000 of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly. It is a chartered university and is recognized by the UGC / Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the Government of Pakistan. The Mohi-ud-Din Islamic University, Nerian Sharif, AJ&K is singular effort of the people of Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The establishment of this university encourages the educational planners to come forward for the promotion of the education not only for the local populace, but also for our future generations.

The idea of establishment of this university by Allama Pir Alla-ud-Din Siddiqui was in fact in commemoration of the memory of his late father, Sheikh Hazrat Khawaja Pir Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Ghazanvi, who was one of the great saints of his time and devoted his whole life to the cause of Islam by motivating the people of the far flung area of Trarkhal, AJ&K to mould their lives according to the tenets of Islam.

The Chancellor following in the footsteps of his illustrious father has devoted his life to further the cause of modern education in combination with the basic religious education. The raison de tre underlying this mission of his life is to recapture the glorious traditions of scholarship of our ancestors. This will provide an opportunity to the Pakistan youth to utilize their talent to attain brilliance and excellence in the modern techniques and skills to compete with the best in the world.

President's message
There is no gainsaying the fact that the present age is the most challenge era, which involves survival of nations through attainment of excellence in the modern knowledge based on technological advancement. The establishment of Mohi-Ud-Din Islamic University, Nerian Sharif, AJ&K through an act of AJ&K Legislative Assembly is the brain child of Allama Alla-Ud-Din Siddiqui, a renowned spiritual celebrity who has dedicated his whole life for the spread of modern knowledge in combination with the religious education. The main objective of the university is to produce such graduate who are not only equipped with the modern scientific, professional and technological skills but are also not oblivious to our glorious past.

The university has set for itself high standard to attain its objectives. For instance the Mohi-Ud-Din Islamic University is the only university in the country which has adopted the system of composite/external examinations even in respect of the semester based programs. This, I believe is likely to raise the quality of education which is the need of the time and augers well for the development of national talent to enable them to contribute to the overall development in all fields of our national life. I wish that the University achieve its noble objectives effectively and speedily.

Academic Block
It is four storied building having 48 rooms and one hall called 'Dar-ul-Hadith'.

Student's Hostel
It is five storied structure having 86 rooms.

Teaching Staff Hostel
It is three storied building having 36 rooms.

Usman Ghani Block
It is four storied ultra structure with one dining hall, one multipurpose hall used as mosque and 19 rooms of junior staff hostel.

It comprises library hall, dispensary, cafeteria, book shop, barber shop and a hall reserved for bank
