VSPM Academy of Higher Education (Formerly known as Vidya Shikshan Prasarak Mandal), the parent trust has made this objective its mission.
Since it's very inception in 1971 it has untiringly toiled amongst the most backward regions and the least privileged to provide them the opportunity to become self-reliant. Formed by Padmashri Kamaltai Hospet with the sole intention of providing education to the downtrodden in those days.

After her death the reigns were passed on to Shri.Ranjeet Deshmukh, the present Chairman leading this trust. Mr.Ranjeet Deshmukh a mechanical engineer by profession was the Ex.Minister in the Maharashtra Government. In his guidance the VSPM-AHE has achieved great milestones without comprising on its values.
Its focus has been extremely clear. It has emphasized on education, social upliftment and the removal of social ills.

The result of three decades of effort has been the setting up of around 50 quality education institutions right from primary schools to medical college, setting up of social institutions for the backward and women and innumerable programmes for removal of social evils.

VSPM-AHE with around 50 educational institutions has spread all over Vidarbha region in Maharashtra. The jewel in the crown is the 68 acres of its Digdoh campus situated in the outskirts of the Nagpur city.

College Discipline

• Wearing college uniform is mandatory in the college campus for all students from first to final year. Students without uniform will not be allowed to attend classes.
• Students must wear a full sleeve knee long apron in college campus. Attending lectures, clinics, tutorials and other teaching and non academic programmes is compulsory for students.
• Students having less than 75% attendance and showing poor performance in tests shall not be permitted to appear for university examination.
• It is compulsory for students to appear for all internal examinations conducted as per guidelines of the University.
• Students should not cause any damage to the college property, if found guilty, necessary disciplinary action shall be taken.
• Students should carry / wear their identity card regularly in college campus and it should be produced if demanded by the competent authority.
• Smoking, consumption of alcohol and chewing tobacco are strictly prohibited in the college premises.
• Students indulging in antisocial activities in or outside the college shall be subjected to strict disciplinary action & may be expelled from college.
• It is mandatory for all the students to attend the flag hosting programme on 15th Aug and 26th Jan,
• Failure to do so will invite strict disciplinary action. As per provision of the Maharashtra Act XXXIII (Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act) .
• Those found indulging in ragging will be punished with suspension, expulsion from college and imprisonment.
• Students found absconding from classes or instigating other students for bunking classes shall be heavily penalized.
• Private tuition are strictly prohibited and punishable.

THE INSTITUTE FOLLOWS A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY AGAINST RAGGING
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in this institute. If any incidence of ragging is reported or comes to notice of the authorities the concerned student/s will be strictly dealt as per Supreme Court order.

Guidelines framed by MCI & Govt. of Maharashtra

As per the notification no. MCI-34 (1) 2009-Med/99639 dt. 21/2/09 issued by the ad hoc committee of the Medical Council of India appointed by the H'ble Supreme Court Ragging has been completely banned and students found indulging in it shall be proceeded against it.

Ragging in any form is a non bailable offense and punishment ranges from suspension, extension of term to expulsion of student.
