About the College
Dr. P. Narayana is a multifaceted personality with the sole aim of providing high-tech health care facilities to the people of Nellore and its environs. It is his endeavor to provide the most modern medical education and establish Medical Institutions and teaching hospitals, which will be upgraded to the Deemed University status.

The objective of establishing Narayana Medical Institutions is to lay a foundation and create advanced academic and research environment for medical and other health science professionals and manpower that would identify and deal effectively with peculiar problems faced in implanting a comprehensive health care. Appropriate, relevant and up to date knowledge and skills are made available not only at grass roots level but also advanced levels of research in Medical and Health Sciences.

About the Hospital
Narayana Teaching Hospital is located in Medical College Campus at Nellore . Narayana General Hospital has 1430 beds with excellent infrastructure and high end equipment, providing primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare. Hospital is supported by ultra modern laboratory and around the clock running blood bank. It has unique emergency medicine department(Casualty) managed by qualified professionals to provide the quality care.

Narayana Super Speciality Hospital consists of 1050 beds with state of art infrastructure with 18 moduler opearation theaters, well equiped different I.C.U.'s. Highly skilled professionals and para medical staff provide the quality health care around the clock. The clinical outcomes are excellent and on par with private corporate Hospitals in the country. It is the first private Medical College Hospital to do successfully Kidney Transplant Operation.

Library
The library's front entrance leads to the referencing section hall where very important titles of Medical are stored in the on open shelves. Directories, Encyclopedias, MCQ books Etc., are available in this section. The faculty members can conveniently do their referencing work in the area exclusively arranged. The Journals received in the calendar year are displayed on several pigeonhole racks. At the end of the year, these are sorted date-wise and sent to the binding work. Bound volumes of journals are stored in the first floor according to the titles alphabetically. Journals dating from 1995 to current date.

The Campus
Narayana Medical Educational Campus at Nellore is spread over a large area of 143 acres and on completion, the project will have more than 10,00,000 square feet of built - in area with a all modern amenities needed for medical institutions of this stature.
