Location
The Medical College is Located in a beautiful landscape at Kambipura Village, Kengeri Hobli on the Mysore Road, Bangalore Urban District. It has been established away from the hustle and bustle of the city traffic, in awe inspiring 25 acres campus dedicated to the noble cause of having this temple of medical education and service to the layman.

The college and hospital is surrounded by serene and conducive environment to catalyze the overall academic performance and personality development. It is situated on the state highway and has fantastic connectivity with the city railway station and Devanahalli International Airport.

Eligibility & Admission Protocols
For General Category (GC) Candidate

The candidate should have passed P.U.C II year or 10+2 equivalent examination recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) securing not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined together + 50% marks in either of the Entrance Test that includes Common Entrance Test (CET) / Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority (KRLM) / Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) / All India Entrance Test (AIET).

For Scheduled Cast (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Other Backward Community (OBC) Candidate

The candidate should have passed P.U.C II year or 10+2 equivalent examination recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) securing not less than 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined together + 50% marks in either of the Entrance Test that includes Common Entrance Test (CET) / Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority (KRLM) / Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) / All India Entrance Test (AIET).

Candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission. Candidates from outside Karnataka State must get eligibility certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Candidates of minority status should have Tulu speaking certificate from appropriate authorities.

Migration
Migration from one Medical College to another college after admission is generally not permitted and the Medical Council of India is the final authority to permit such a change in exceptional situations.

To be eligible for appearing University examination a candidate:
  • Shall have undergone satisfactorily the approved course of study in the subjects for the prescribed duration.
  • Shall have attended at least 75% of the total number of classes in theory and Practicals / Clinicals.
  • Shall secure at least 35% of total marks fixed for Internal Assessment in a particular subject.
  • Shall fulfill any other requirement that may be prescribed by the University from time to time.
  • Who fail in any subjects of MBBS Phase I has to put up one academic term before he/she becomes eligible to appear for the next examination.
  • Shall pass in all the Phase I (pre clinical) subjects before joining the Phase II (Para clinical) subjects.
  • Who fails in the Phase II examination shall not be allowed to appear in Part I of III phase examination.
Phase I (MBBS)
At the end of 12 months from the last day of admission (Anatomy, Physiology & Biochemistry)

Phase II (II MBBS)
At the end of 18 months after I MBBS (Pharmacology, Pathology Microbiology, Forensic Medicine)

Phase III (Part I)
At the end of 12 months after II MBBS (Community Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology)

Phase III (Part II)
At the end of 12 months afterPhase III, Part I (Medicine, Surgery, OBG, Orthopedics & Paediatrics)

Rules & Regulations | Students
  • Code Of Conduct: All students should follow the rules and regulations of the institution and should also respect the members of the faculty.
  • Dress Code: All students should abide by the dress code prescribed by the institution. Boys should wear formal dress and shoes. Girls should wear sarees or decent salwar kameez only and should have their hair properly tied up. They are not allowed to leave the hair loose. Girls are expected to retrain from wearing short kurtis. Wearing jeans pants, T- shirts, sleeveless tops and legging is strictly prohibited. No jewels allowed . Both boys and girls should wear clean white aprons with the college emblem in the campus premises. They should have name plates on their aprons. To respect the sanctity of profession please do not wear these aprons outside the college campus.
  • Punctuality: Students are expected to be seated 5 minutes before the commencement of the class. Any student coming late will not be permitted to enter the class.
  • Behavior: Students are not allowed to shout or make loud noise between the class hours or leisure time while they are in the campus. Students are prohibited from standing in person orgroups on the corridor. Unnecessarily entering into the conversation with stranger is to be avoided.
  • Use of mobile Phones in the class rooms, seminar halls, library strictly prohibited. The mobiles will be confiscated if found in use & will not be returned.
  • Smoking, consuming alcohol and drug abuse and any kind of misbehavior or any kind of unlawful activity within the campus is prohibited and will be duly addressed to the parents besides taking strict disciplinary action as per college rules and regulations. Any student found continuing with same behavior even after reasonable notice will be immediately removed from the institution.
  • Counseling: Any Students who faces academic or other problems can approach the head of the Institution, head of the department or senior staff members for redressal of their grievances.
  • Parents are advised to approach the Dean! Medical Director! Faculty Members regularly to know their progress of their wards. Parents if summoned to discuss about their wards should report to the college without fail immediately as and when required.
